In discovering their needs and desire, I have found that many of the people that I speak with have been in numerous network marketing companies before.  Each one offers them a whole new set of frustration. 

Nonetheless, they believe in the power of network marketing, and they continue to search various mlms to find the answer to their dream of becoming a success in network marketing.

Some would think quitting a network marketing company and moving on to the next is just admitting failure. Unfortunately, I thought the same thing at one point, too.

However, my husband, Ben, set me straight on this thinking. He reminded me when I was in college, I had made the decision to major in communications with my emphasis on journalism. But my interest changed as I took various courses, and within a year, I switched my emphasis in study to public relations.

Now, Ben further reminded me that this was not quitting or failure. I just was looking for the right subject that would hold my interest and commitment. God bless my husband and his insight.

That is how I look at those searching for a network marketing company.  If there is no support from an upline or sponsor, your continued efforts fail in making the network marketing company successful, and your interest level lags, then maybe it is time to find the right one for you.

Now, I'm not talking about quitting.  Heaven knows, I'm not a quitter.  I'm talking about accepting that something does not work, and move on.

A few months ago, my husband and I had the pleasure of having lunch with my upline and friend Ann Sieg, author of The Renegade Network Marketer and her son and business partner, Isaiah. I was surprised that she too, struggled for nearly 15 years being in and out of network marketing businesses.  In 2002 she made network marketing her full focus.

Successful people are willing to try a new approach.

Successful people bounce back.

Ann Sieg rejected failure and discovered success in network marketing.  Now, she is helping thousands to find success in their own businesses.  But Ann Sieg cannot give that success to you.  Each person must work for it.

I've been in a few network marketing companies myself, over the last couple of years, and in my heart knew the power of network marketing.  I stumbled across Ann Sieg's website soon after she kicked it off, and truly discovered the blessing that I had been praying for daily.

Network marketing does not have to be about selling your friends and family.  I personally don't do it anymore, unless someone approaches me.  I'm learning to create and cultivate my own flow of prospects by educating myself on all the resources available through Ann's e-book, The Renegade Network Marketer.

In nine months, I've already seeing my downline grow into the fifth level. Duplication is taking place and the numbers are coming in.  It's exciting.  My income is already that of someone working a full time job.

If you think you can read Ann Sieg's book and presto, you have instant success in network marketing - you are seriously mistaken.  You must utilize all the tools and resources that she provides, and start studying and applying them. This takes time, just like going to college, you must read, study, implement, and test your skills.
